I like it |
| its definitely a great item to buy, i've always liked boston. i thought they kinda started that 80's sound before the 80's even started. so they were kinda before their time which makes them unique. i was not impressed with their newer songs on the album but the ones from the 70's and early 80's were pretty good |

30 Years later, Boston's Music Is Still "Smokin'" |
One of the greatest hard rock bands of the 1970s' was, without a doubt, Boston. Their first album is still regarded as one of the finest 1970s' rock albums, and their subsequent releases have aged just as well.
"Greatest Hits" is a 16 track collection of some of Boston's biggest songs that all beginning or casual Boston fans should own, including certified rock classics as "More Than A Feeling", "Peace Of Mind", "Foreplay/Long Time", "Amanda" and "Smokin'". The band also included some underrated gems like "Don't Look Back", "Cool The Engines" and "Party" as well as new tracks and a live track. Some fans may carp about some songs missing (such as the Top Ten hit "We're Ready"), but this collection is excellent otherwise.
The bottom line is, if you wanna hear great classic rock, then pick up this cd. It belongs in any collection. |
