Extremely comfortable, convenient, and great sound |
I have been using these headphones on a daily basis since 2001. Actually, I replaced my worn out headphones in 2002, but that pair is still going strong. While my Sennheiser closed ear headphones have somewhat better sound, the Sony compact folding headphones are the most comfortable ones I have ever worn. I listen to music at work all day long, and a closed design is important to me so that I do not disturb my colleagues. But what matters most is comfort, and I can wear the MDRG82LPs for up to 6 hours with virtually no discomfort. Almost all other headphones eventually hurt my ears. A lot.
I am very sorry Sony has stopped manufacturing these. I have a pair as backup, and I will probably search for a *backup* backup pair because I love these headphones! |

| These are such a great set of headphones that I'm looking to purchase another one just for home. These things are really comfortable, much more so then other headphones that wrap over your ears. You can even lean back onto a pillow twisting the headphones into the standard headphone position and you won't have any problem listening to audio. Very happy with this product. Highly suggest you check them out!! |

| these have served me well throughout the past year. though large, they are not bulky. one of the only problem i've had with them are their sound quality. the same quality could be gotten from less expensive headphones with more comfort value. after extended periods of wear, the joints have held up, which is suprising because of their design. again, the only complaint i have is sound quality. |
