Good mp3 player with good price |
Good quality, easy to operate and long battery life.
The only weakness is the software for the computer is not easy to use. Sometimes the software can not find the mp3 player although the mp3 player has already connected to the computer. |

Great MP3 Player |
I've been using this player for almost 2 years now, and it works perfectly. Even since I bought this unit at a CircuitCity store in October 2003, there was no problem, really.
I am mainly using this player for playing mp3 files only. Since I don't really listen to radio, I have nothing to comment about the feature. Anyway, I advise you to get a good earphones if you want to enjoy good sound.
One maybe think that 256MB capacity is too low. Well, it depends on your usage. If you want to store massive numbers of musics and use the player as jukebox(with shuffling), you might want to consider bigger hdd-based players. However, if you want to store your REAL favorite songs and listen to them, you won't really need larger capacity. 256MB means that you can store up to about 60 songs, and you won't really listen to 60 songs at a time very often.
One complaint of IFP-190T is that its body is made with cheap-feeling plastic, and is extremely weak to scratches. Since I am protecting LCD screen with PDA protective film, LCD screen is still clean, yet body has many wear and tears. But other than that, this is great player with great sound quality.
Complaint Update: I recently updated firmware and music transfer software(which I haven't done ever since I bought the player). However, the new version music transfer software takes time to display music files in hard disk drive for some reason; older version showed them instantly. For IFP-799, it sometimes takes longer to display files in HDD(if there are many music files in single folder) than to tranfer those files to player. What is going on? |
