Nice photos for a few months, then in the trash it went. |
| I had this printer for less than a year. Paid maybe $80 for it, if that. Ate ink like crazy. Now today I'm suddenly finding out the thing won't print black ink anymore, despite having tried a new cartridge, did the nozzle cleaning, etc. I need color cartridges anyway, so will spend the money today on a new HP instead. Costs almost the same. |

Great while it lasted |
| We bought one of these back in December of 2003 and were very happy with the the quality when printing out photos. Black only text also looked great when we started buying the nice paper. In June of 2004, it stopped printing the Magenta color so we had it replaced under warranty from Epson. The replacement worked great as well....until July of 2005. It again stopped printing Magenta. After running SEVERAL cleaning cycles and replacing all the ink cartridges, it still does not print Magenta which means everything we print looks blue/green. Not good for pictures of our new baby. Epson will not replace this one because their warranty only covers from one year of the date of original purchase. I would recommend this great little printer if you are ok with buying a new printer every year or buying an extended warranty. |
